Truthfully he's kinda bummed out. Alex had eventually responded near the end of the set that he had to cancel and he's sorry and etc etc but Ryan stopped reading the long message halfway through. But he's an actor. He just gives a slightly unreadable look to Elliot before he forces himself up into a grin, a blase shrug like he's completely unbothered.]
Nope. [Which isn't a lie. He's never had a girlfriend and he never will. Elliot doesn't need to know that's why he's saying no, though.] But this wasn't the worst way to spend my evening so thanks for that. [A real grin follows after that.] What's the main act like? I'm still deciding if I wanna stick around or just head out.
